Flower-Visiting Insects
of Star Chickweed

Stellaria pubera (Star Chickweed)
(insect activity is largely unspecified, however both nectar and pollen are available from the flowers; observations are from Krombein et al., Campbell, and Motten; the butterfly was identified by Campbell as Euchloe hyantis lotta [Desert Marble], but this record is dubious because the range of this butterfly is apparently restricted to the Western states – it is more likely that Euchloe olympia [Marbled White] was observed)
